Toby Beard played at Vanslag last year and I hated having missed that. Even more when I heard the loads of positive reviews of the gig. So hearing she was to return to Vanslag was terrific news!

Toby flew over from Australia, but brought a mix of music from all over the world with her: ther’s folk, roots, gorgeous blues, a bit of jazz, loads of reggae-vibe and even a dash of French chansons. But it all mixes together very well, like they belong together.

The concert at times almost had that Gospel feel as Toby and band had no problems whatsoever getting the audience singing, clapping and dancing with them, it was hot and steaming, brilliant!
